I devoured The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson. It was one of those books that I read and everything else needs to go to the wayside. "Sorry kids--get your own supper. Mom's reading!" The books has unique but likable characters, mystery, suspense, difficult relationships, crime, etc. Warning--this book contains one of the most disturbing sexual assaults I've ever read. Under no circumstances is this book meant for adolescents.
After I completed the book, I purchased the sequel The Girl Who Played With Fire. Knowing how I couldn't stop reading the first book, this one has been sitting by my chair for a couple of months until I have a couple of days where I can read non-stop . . . just in case.
