The Beginnings of the Church

One of the required texts for an on-line class I am taking was Frederick J. Cwieksowski's The Beginnings of the Church.  I was first published nearly 25 years ago; however, the topic and relevance are still acceptable to this class.

This text is one you would read only if 1) you are required for a course  or  2) it was sitting in the waiting room and you are stuck for three days.  In defense of the author, it is a rather dry subject; however, there were several places where his writing was not clear (ambiguous) or he fell short of defending his point.
